Privacy Policy

Effective July 30, 2026

This policy explains what information Marketing Compass LLC (“Marketing Compass”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Like everything we write, it's in plain English.

1. What we collect

Information you give us. When you use our site or service, you may provide your email address, business website, answers about your marketing spend and setup, your name and phone number when you book a call, and any business information you share with us during the advisory relationship, such as invoices, account access, and reports.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies. Our site uses the Meta Pixel and Google tags, which collect information about your visit, such as pages viewed, actions taken, device and browser information, and general location. This helps us measure our advertising and understand how the site is used.

2. How we use it

We use your information to provide the service, prepare your fixes and pricing options, schedule and hold calls, respond to you, send you relevant follow-up emails, measure and improve our site and advertising, and meet legal obligations. If you're on our email list and don't want to be, every email includes an unsubscribe link, or just reply and tell us.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make the service run: Formspree processes our forms, Calendly handles scheduling, Meta and Google process advertising and measurement data as described above, our website host serves the site, and our email and billing providers deliver messages and process payments. Each provider receives only what it needs to do its job. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

4. Advertising and your choices

Because we advertise on Meta and Google, those platforms may use information collected on our site to show you our ads elsewhere and to measure ad performance. You can limit this in several ways: adjust your ad preferences in your Facebook settings, visit Google's Ads Settings, use your browser's cookie controls or private browsing, or enable Global Privacy Control. The site works fine either way.

5. How long we keep it

We keep lead and client information for as long as we have a business relationship with you and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping, then delete it. You can shorten that: see the next section.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we have about you, correct it, delete it, or opt out of certain sharing. We honor these requests regardless of where you live. Email support@marketingcompass.com and we'll take care of it. We will never treat you differently for exercising a privacy right.

7. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including reputable providers, access controls, and encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we take protecting your business information seriously. It's the core of what you trust us with.

8. Not for children

Our site and service are for business owners and are not directed to anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

9. Changes and contact

If we change this policy, we'll post the updated version here with a new effective date. Questions about privacy? Email support@marketingcompass.com.
